Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement, and you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of your household, you accept these Terms for that household.

2. What we provide

Connected Learning Co. is a platform that helps homeschooling families plan lessons, track grades and attendance, and keep organized records. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product develops.

3. Beta service

The Service is currently offered as a beta. It is provided for evaluation, may be incomplete, may change significantly, and may contain errors. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time during the beta. You should keep your own copies of important records and should not rely on the beta Service as your only system of record. The beta is free; billing for the period after the beta is described in Section 4.

4. Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Free beta. The Service is free for all families during the beta, which runs through August 1, 2026. We will not charge you during the beta.

Paid plans. After the beta, continued use of the full Service requires a paid subscription. The plan is billed per family at US $20 per month for the parent account plus US $10 per month for each student, and is charged monthly in advance. Prices may change; we will give you advance notice before a change affects you, and a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Beta participant discount. Families who took part in the beta may receive a renewal discount. The amount and duration of any discount that applies to your family will be shown to you before your first charge.

Automatic renewal. A paid subscription renews automatically each month and the payment method on file is charged for the next month, until you cancel. By starting a paid subscription you authorize these recurring charges. We will show you the renewal amount and the date of your first charge before you are charged.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time by emailing info@myconnectedlearning.co. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds. If you cancel within 30 days of a charge, we will refund that charge in full. If you cancel after 30 days, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period on a prorated basis. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

If you don’t renew. If the beta ends or a paid subscription lapses, your account is not deleted. After a short grace period your family’s account becomes read-only — you can still sign in and view your records, but cannot add or change them — until you start or renew a paid subscription. You can request deletion of your data at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Please notify us promptly at info@myconnectedlearning.co if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and for your own family’s homeschooling. You agree not to:

• misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• attempt to access another family’s data;
• copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service;
• upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes anyone’s rights;
• use the Service to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

7. Your content and your family’s data

You retain ownership of the information and documents you enter, including any student information. You are responsible for that content and confirm you have the right to provide it. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate the Service for you. How we handle this information is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, and the content we create — belongs to Connected Learning Co. and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks, or to copy or resell the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that records, calculations, or AI-generated suggestions will be accurate or complete. You remain responsible for reviewing your own records and for meeting any homeschooling, reporting, or compliance requirements that apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connected Learning Co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the Service. You can request deletion of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves or as laws change. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
